Truly inspiring. Aye. Still in Australia and stuff. Last year seriously flew in but it was good overall. Still working with the same company and all that. They offered us sponsorship last June which we felt would have been ridiculous to turn down so we've got a visa until next August. Work in general can be pretty punishing but generally good and so insanely different and better than it'll ever be at home in every sense. Lindsay came out and visited at the end of September so that was lovely. Did plenty of touristy things with her and generally had a delightful time. We were back home for about 6 weeks over Christmas and New Year which was amazing. Caught up with tons of folk and family etc, went to Arran for a few days and the like as well. I enjoyed myself too much, however, and really didn't want to leave by then end of it so it actually ended up being a bit unsettling when we came back to Australia. I think we've both got back into the swing of things at last, but there's still days where you find yourself really missing home which is to be expected, I suppose. Dunno if it's harder just now because Andy's stag do and wedding are coming up and I'm absolutely gutted I won't be able to go to either. Anyway, I'm sure I'll survive. Babooons.

In other news, Euan is over staying at the moment. He's got a years working holiday visa so he's been staying with us since last Thursday and is heading to Melbourne on Tuesday. It's been great having him over, went to Fremantle prison and Perth Zoo with him, both of which were braw. Saw orang utans, lemurs, baboons, gibbons and a tiger which growled at me and malkied the glass when I put my face up against it. Heavy shat it. Going off on a job on Wednesday which hopefully won't be too bad. We're going with an Austin Powers lookalike, hilariously. Going to a couple at work's wedding the day after we get back as well then we're going to Sydney for a week or so at the end of April, so plenty to look forward to. Ginger.

Annual update of teenage relic over.
