Third time is the charm. I keep starting this entry and when I go to backspace my internet browsers goes back page and I lose the whole 5 sentences I type. So, let’s try this once more with feeling.
On Sunday, I am heading back to LC for a month to work with high schoolers. I get to be a tutor/paraperfessional(?) or something and help “tutor” them in science for the math and science academy. I am not as happy about this as I pretend to be. I am glad to go home and see some of you gals, but I don’t want to deal with the parental units. They switch between treating me like the 22 year old I am and the 17 year old they remember living with. It is all very confusing and frustrating on both sides of the equation.
On Saturday, I am going to have a girls afternoon with some friends in Davis and we are going to see bodies revealed. I am really excited to see the exhibit; I am especially excited to see it with the people I am because they are squeamish. :P
On the 11th of June I graduated. Well, it was fake graduating. I walked across the stage and got my “diploma” (a brochure telling me to give more money to UCD as an alumna), but I didn’t know if I passed all my classes yet; I took my last final the night before at 6pm. I did pass all my classes, not as spectacularly as hoped, but I passed nonetheless. I should receive it within 2 months of graduating if I recall correctly.
Now for the past, I haven’t been doing anything special. I went to school; worked at Carl’s; watch a whole bunch of Stargate - SG-1, Atlantis and Universe; became a gleek, Booth/Brennan shipper and supernatural fanatic; spent all my class breaks making friends at the silo; went through two roomies since
brittydragon and acquired two kittymoews. That pretty much sums it up.
See ya’all over the rainbow.
