Apartment Crazyness

I know that I haven't really updated since the beginning of the month, but I have a good reason... at least I think it is. I have been packing, volunteering, packing and moving since the first. Well, I probably should explain.

On the first of the month, I came to the town I am currently living in and paid first and last months rent and move some of my things in to my new and first apartment. Yes, it is spiffy. Then I went back to my parents house.

The next week I volunteered at the library at my old high school. Basically the whole school goes in to the library throughout the week to pick out books for a program called R&L. You don't want to know. I actually only volunteered for three days because Monday was a holiday and Tuesday I suffered from a huge allergy attack. I know that I am mildly allergic to cats, but this summer I suffered from massive amounts of bug bites while camping and my mild allergies turned into a monster that is trying to kill me... or perhaps I am exaggerating just a little bit. :)

The weekend after that week, I went back to the town I now live with my dad and we brought thayergirl and my beds down here with a few blankets. thayergirl was sleeping on the guest bed, so it didn't really matter, but I got demoted to an air mattress. I can't really complain because I said that I didn't mind, and it wasn't that bad.

That next week was spent packing and worrying cause of moving and doctor's visits. But the scary doctor's visit was on Weds and it didn't go that bad. She was the one to confirm my suspicion about having really bad allergic reactions for the past month. I really don't have an excuse for not updating this week, but we will overlook that. I also finished some of the books that I got at the library since it was my last week home.

On Saturday I moved here and bought groceries. My parents thought my sister and I looked shell shocked coming out of the store, and I wouldn't doubt that I did. The last few days has been unpacking all the crap thayergirl and I brought to out apartment. You never know how much useless junk you have until you have to pack it all up.

The only thing I am sad about is missing Big Brother. (Ok, that isn't the only thing, but it is fun to sound shallow, just like Jen and Dani. *smirk*)
