so i've decided against the tsunami relief fundraiser.
not because i don't want to help, but because interact is already having a fundraiser,
and i dont think people will donate to two. instead i'm going to suggest the bakesale
idea to mrs. white as a way to get extra money for it, and everyone in my family is donating money.
anywayy...im gonna start working at primetime again next week.
it's all of next week while the temperary person is getting surgery. then she's back for the last week in january,
and i start up full time february 1st, 5 days a week. woo hoooo. not. but hey, i need the money, and i do love the little kiddies.
i also have to send in my application to volunteer at a hospital in philly for the summer, so i'm hoping that works out.
nothing too earthshattering has been going on recently, everythings just been gloomy & boring.
it may only be january, but i am so ready for summertime.
im kind of excited about starting to look at colleges though. it's a little overwhelming b/c there are soo many to pick from.
i have a list of ones i want to look at though (in any order):
*NYU (which i'm visiting next friday)
*Fordham (New York)
*Boston University
*Tufts (Massachusetts)
*Amherst (MA)
*Clark (MA)
*Northeastern (MA)
*American (Washington D.C.)
*Georgetown (Washington D.C.)
*University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
*Tulane (New orleans!, Lousiana)
*University of Hawaii - Manoa
*Charleston (SC)
*University of Richmond
*University of California........Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz
*University of San Francisco
so basically lots of schools, most are pretty hard to get into.
i've gotta look for more safety schools but as of now, these are all looking really good to me.
i don't mind going far as you can see with CA and Hawaii, so it makes it even harder to choose.
i'm scheduling lots of visits though and this summer i'm gonna look at the ones in CA when i come to visit ashley = D
i just can't wait to get out of small town new jersey and into college.
i'm sure you all don't really care about all that, but that's what i've been thinking about a lot lately, so that's what i wrote about. get over it.
