Anniversary
Nothing terribly surprising about my stats, I don't think. But it is always fun to know!
Also, I was overjoyed to receive an Anniversary ring! I wasn't playing last year when they were handed out, and missed my opportunity. But with my MNK at 71 now, it couldn't have come at a better time. Getting a FREE 30,000 EXP is almost an entire level on monk, so I'm going to be 72 in no time (assuming I get party invites).
Thanks to Chaku, Dysphoria, and Pharaun, I got Asuran unlocked on Sky elementals in about an hour and a half, and then went and killed the NM right after. The last (and only time) I ever killed that NM was on a WSNM tour (we used to need these, kids) back between June 23rd and June 27th, 2004. See: http://ikariffxi.livejournal.com/5991.html . So yeah, it has been almost four freaking years!
Salvage and Nyzul have been quiet, albeit doing both almost daily. Nyzul is going on the back burner now though, thanks to a Salvage set that is starting on Friday (and I direly need points, so it's back to assaults). I got the Skadi 25 legs, but 35 feet haven't dropped in 5 or 6 runs (actually, nothing has ever dropped from that NM). Also 0/1 on Skadi 35 legs, no biggie.
Looking forward to getting Monk to 75 for a few reasons, not the least of which is money. At 72, I can sell Strike Subligar for 300k, and at 73 I can sell Ochiudo's Kote for 800,000 and Cross-Counters for 1,300,000, all to be replaced with better rare/ex gear. Can't wait.
