"Hey." I said evenly, looking over B's shoulder to soliderboy chillin' on the couch. Couldn't help but let the awkwardness settle over the four of us for a minute as B and I looked at eachother. Knew I shoulda just come here on my own, havin' Angel here too just made things wicked confusing. That was the whole point of coming over here, getting away from him.
"Sorry, it's all late." I shrugged a little, still not moving my eyes from Buffy's gaze. "I just thought...ya know, if it's still cool. I could stay here...but if it's not I can leave." I can feel Angel's eyes on the back of my head, like drilling two holes into the back of my skull.
"Hey." I said, nodding at Riley before quickly turning my eyes back to Buffy.
I stand up as Faith and Angel enter, feeling the tension already building in the room as we looked one another down. I was seriously waiting for either Buffy or Faith to draw guns, well, proverbial guns. An explanation was given and Faith asked if she could stay here, she looked at me and said 'hey' before looking back at Buffy. Her eyes were pleading with Buffy to not send her away, I stepped up beside Buffy and smiled warmly at them both.
"Buffy'd love to have you Faith, she's been worried about you all night." I move over and take the bag Angel set down, eager to get her away from him and actually help her. I move the bag into Buffy's room and set it down on the floor by the dresser. I realize I've taken the bag into Buffy's bedroom, something in my mind told me that they needed to be alone together and close. It made sense.
I stroll back into the room and Angel is standing there with his arms crossed scowling, brooding... whatever it is he does. I nod my head at him and stand back beside Buffy waiting to see what happens.
Oh isn't this just... sweet? Buffy and the walking drill sargeant, stick firmly planted up his ass and I think he probably liked it. It felt routine to him. Bastard. I couldn't help but smirk lightly at the thought of being in a room with two Slayers. It was better than heaven, it was my wet dream and here it was live and in living color
( ... )
"Bye." I said quietly to Angel as he left through the front door. My lips barely moved over the syllable before my attention went back to the reality TV show I was watching. America's Next Top Model? These bitches were all so fucking catty, it was sorta amusing to watch. I just really liked TV. I was glad Buffy and Riley had one.
My eyes followed Buffy as she stood up and walked slowly to the refrigerator before walking back and handing me a bottle of water. "Thanks." I mumbled, taking the bottle gratefully from her. I was kinda tired and wired all at the same time. Weird I know.
"It's cool...that you're letting me stay here...and stuff."
I smile at Buffy as she hands Faith a water and sits back beside me, I'm glad Faith is here. Buffy will take better care of her than anyone could, I stood up and looked down at Buffy. Faith thanked her for letting her stay and I see the smile on Buffy's face.
"I can go or I can stay, either way you two need to talk and bond and do... Slayer things." I say putting my hand behind my neck, looking over at Faith. "I'd feel a lot better if I could stay here, I'll take the couch the spare room... whatever. I'd just feel safer knowing you guys weren't here alone. I really don't want Angel back here either." I look at Buffy and then to Faith, realizing I couldn't make that decision.
"I mean, if that's what you want Faith, him not to be here. He can be here too, it's really your decision." I wonder if she's even aware how badly he's treating her by not helping, I'm not going to ask. "Should I order food?"
