(no subject)
So the show last night went well (pretty much). Matt broke the low E string on his bass 10 seconds into the first song. The sound guy Keith (who is also an insane bass player) offered to change the string while we did the next song, but discovered that the nut was broken. Matt breaks more bass strings than anyone I've ever seen. The place was pretty full when we played-people seemed to be into what we were playing. Dominic and the Lucid, who played after us, sounded awesome- we stayed until the end of their set, dancing around like crazy to music that wasn't terribly danceable.
We are playing at the free street again on tuesday. Hopefully, we'll have some cds ready for that show (the live cd that was recorded at the battle of the bands). I need to ressurect the monkey shine t- shirt I made (merchandise! yow!)
Suffice to say, I'm exhausted this morning. (I went to sleep sometime after 2)
