Connor showed signs of being worth a bit of tutoring- threats, stalking, and some insults. Then just as we'd begun to reach a place of possible violence- bam- Mama Cordy interfered.
Am optimistic that the boy does have a spine. After all he managed to endure the lectures and prancing of Angel.
Will be interesting to see if he makes apron-string cutting a spectacular rite of passage.

Can definitely see resemblance to Darla in Connor. She always did like to stomp off.
