"Where is Aeryn Sun?" Her absence makes him nervous. There is every chance, he knows, that she is dead and this is a trap.
"They are unarmed." The Captain tries to ignore the cold gaze of Lt. Teeg, although it sends a shiver down his spine. He directs a hard stare at Crais. "And their vessel is also free of explosives or any other devices."
Crais tenses even more than he had already; this is not a comfortable topic of conversation.
"You must know, after our last encounter, that I have come to ... value her highly. She has been a useful ally to me. I owe her a debt."
As always with Scorpius, he does his best to stick to the truth. There isn't a way he can make up for shooting Xhalax Sun, but he's certainly prepared to try.
"Now, I suggest that you prove you have her, or we have no deal."
