(no subject)
I need to decide what to get mes parents for their birthdays (which are 3 days apart). Does anyone have any ideas? My mom is always easier to get stuff for because I can make her jewelery or other crafty things and she'll wear them! My dad on the other hand...dunno.
The girl who was living w/ me, Jessie, has now been moved into a house w/ her little boy. He'll be going to kindergarten at my elementary school, which is awesome. ^_^
I trained up at Westfield for 4 days last week to learn how to do "carside." This is a combination of 3 jobs-- serving, hosting and working expo, which is assembling the meals. Let me just say, that going from a job that requires relatively few skills to a job that requires a million is, to say the least, stressful. I'm still not fantastic at it; today I did it alone for the first time and forgot all kinds of dipping sauces...etc. *sighs* Oh well.
Meanwhile, I met some fantastic people there and some not-so-fantastic...the cooks were all rude and crude, and enjoyed referring to all womenfolk by their anatomy. Use your imagination on that one. The girl who trained me on carside, Jill, talked very fast, but was nice to me. I also met this guy who has the same birthday as I do and, of course, is exactly like me. I think we were born out of the same cosmic egg. Except he doesn't like Shakespeare. >_< And we all know what that means.
