(no subject)
I babysat 3 children on Friday and 7 children on Saturday! Both times I teamed up w/ another girl, but it was still a handful (they were all under 6)! Still, I got paid handsomely. ^_^ The youngest two were between 1-2 and the oldest was 6. Everybody was fighting over the swings on the playground, but then we got bubbles and they were hooked for hours. ^_^ They would blow bubbles and then run around trying to pop them all. It was cute. The 6-year-old kept singing Willy Wonka songs at the top of his lungs (from the old version). Lol, he wasn't really even singing them, he was shouting them, lol. Fortunately, we were outside. "I wanna climb over the moon in ecstasy, with my golden tiiiiicket! With my golden tiiiiiiiicket! And with my golden tiiiiiiiicket it's a golden daaaaaaaaaaay!" Lol. It was hysterical.
Then my car died Saturday on the way home! I was in Speedway, coming home from the bank (which I forgot was closed) and it just died in front of a light. I was really scared, because it was raining and cold and I was alone! I called Saturn Roadside Assistance, but they were going to charge me $67 to tow it. They wanted payment on the spot. I was like, "I don't have that much in my checking account, and I sure as heck don't carry that kind of money in cash, and AAA will tow it for free! Forget it!" Then AAA came and it was alright. I looked at ISpy books (from babysitting) until they came. ^_^
I'm going to go to my job orientation in about 45 minutes. I don't have to wear anything special do I? I'm just wearing jeans and a black shirt...but I look like I made an effort, lol. I'm not gonna freak out about it.
