(no subject)
I thought that today was going to be really overwhelming with all I had to do. Turns out, it hasn't been bad at all.
My meeting lasted like 2 minutes...thanks in large part to my mom calling this morning so I didn't get to miss much of GTS. Because of that I got to roll play with Matt and Sarah. We played pattycake and were very loud and unruly so that Seth could yell at us. It was interesting.
I LOATHE English class here, which is surprising, as I love English. I keep telling myself that just because my teachers teaching methods suck, doesnt mean that I cant like her. I'm having a hard time with that.
Yesterday I went to church at The Fathers House. It was great! The worship was awesome and Pierres message was even more awesome! The HUGE group of us that went are considering making that our home church while we're here because it truly is a good church. Adam Cipolla and Rob Guthery attend. I havent seen either of them in ages! I gave both of the huge hugs! It was a nice time.
Afterwards we all went out to lunch at Wendy's which was a really great time to get to know a lot more people. It was fun. We told a lot of stories about our first few weeks here amongst other things. I like that lot a great deal!
After dinner, Andrea, Erin, Spence, Danny, Steve and I went to Movies 10 to see Batman Begins. That was when the fun really started! I think that our group is going to be a close one. Erin has this rhino call thing for me that I made her do last night on the way home. At first she wouldnt because the boys were around, so I had Spence pull the car over and not leave til she did it. She gave in and it was absolutely hilarious! We all died laughing!
I think that if Andrea and I come back next year we're requestiong a triple room so we can all be roommates! That would be fantastic!
Anyway, with all that aside,
I love it here a lot.
I miss people at home though...but I'm managing to the best of my ability.
This weekend is the weekend of prayer and I'm looking forward to that.
I still have a bajillion hours worth of homework to do as well as SOS today so I better get crackin on that.
