I CAN'T HAVE YOU FREAKING OUT EVERY TIME YOU FIND A BODY PART..

twenty six pounds.

on tuesday i baked banana bread. in ninety five degree weather. i just couldn't stand to throw away two brown bananas. they were still okay. it is delicious..

on wednesday i bought a yoga mat at target that came with an instructional beginner's dvd. it's by a guy named rodney yee and he wears grape smugglers during all of the exercises. very distracting. i managed with my eyes closed.

on wednesday i also went to meijers for produce and bread and i saw a girl from high school examining some romaine lettuce and i very determinedly (?) avoided her.

yesterday ben and i went with chris & ian to see scoop at NCG. it was amazing and i laughed way harder than expected. negative: i had to get up to pee twice [curses, diet soda], and apparently it was during two very important scenes. oh well.

after the movie we parused staples for pens and day planners. i fell in love, very briefly, with a pack of fine-tipped sharpies in a variety of colors. i stopped myself, since it was $fourteen.ninetynine.

after that, ben and i rented movies from family video and went home. benchwarmers was stupid and really funny.

britta is due in one month. i'm ridiculously excited and i can't stand waiting. we don't know what she's having so i made her three different blankets. i made her a yellow one, which she already has. i made her a pink and purple one which she'll get if it's a girl. right now i'm making a blue and green one which, obviously, is for a boy.

there is a small spider that's been living in one corner of our basement next to our computer desk for weeks. i normally hate spiders but this one has been such a trooper and stuck around for so long, i don't have the heart to destroy it. once in a while, when i'm bored, i'll blow on it and make it scramble back into it's hole, but it always crawls back. but mark my words, if that thing gets a white sac on it, it's over and done with. i can't handle that shit.
