first snow in may now this o.o;
Something strange happened 2 days ago o_o There was an earthquake at Ottawa. And somehow the earthquake was felt near where I live too. I was at work during the time, walking around the store (which is ground floor), so I had no idea. But my friend told me at her workplace where she was like,on the 5th floor, all the furniture just started shaking violently and everyone was staring at each other like: omg what the heck is going on o_o They were pretty freaked out that the light from the ceiling was gonna drop too.
But wow, I've been living here for more than 10 years and this is the FIRST time I've ever heard of an earthquake here D: Strange indeed...
I finally talked to my manager yesterday and everyone was pretty understanding >< So I'm relieved, and apparently my performance at work wasn't as bad as I thought, like I've only worked there for a short time but my manager said that he can see I'm improving and making progress, so in a way, I take it that they are expecting me to come back and work during the school yr part-time >< Well I'm actually still in probation and my manager was supposed to do my evaluation yesterday but he says it's ok we don't have to do it cause he'll probably have to re-train me when I come back ^^;; I really do hope this means I'll be able to keep working there, cause it doesn't seem like they're planning on kicking me out or anything...o_o
Oh and as you can see I made a banner for myself XD; Ya I know, it looks amateur-like but I'm still refreshing myself with Photoshop since I've spent wayy too much time with Illustrator in all my graphics courses == It actually took me awhile to set up the banner in the layout I want so I ended up having to get this code from a different layout and I changed the colour scheme so I guess it doesn't look too bad =D
Mikado's character song came out!! The special voice part was sooo adorable~ Oh Mikado, your attempt at talking to girls is so...moe *___* Though the way he described himself made him sound like shut-in LOL He doesn't join any clubs, and likes to talk to strangers on the internet...xDD And the song "Gakuen Tengoku" took me by surprise o_o But it was really really cute =3 Very old school and I'm loving the "hey hey hey"s and omg the screams o_o
And...after what seemed like ages, I'm finally going to see a movie tonight!!! I haven't got a chance to watch a movie all summer ==;; So ya, gonna be watching Toy Story 3 with a friend =D I've heard a LOT of good things about this movie (and how tear-jerking it is lol) so I'm really excited for it~!!
