oh man. oh man..oh.
so im sitting in my bedroom. it smells like paint. im painting my white walls white. you can still tell where my 200 and some polaroids were displayed. my shoebox with my polaroids is gone. i wanted to bring it with me. if anything. ANYthing can explain this year without missing any important parts. those can. instantly. it's one of their propreties you know. chemically speaking and. without speaking at all. it's one of those reasons i love them you know. yea. you do know.
so i'm sitting here staring at the very few pictures i have left. three of a dalmation in front of the part of techwall semi-inspired by rammellzee. each closer than the next. the same dalmation that attacked my basketball on that real beautiful day gavin found me sitting on the court drawing with my 2 dollar chalk. those pictures were taken two days ago maybe. the day i bought gavin his very own polaroid camera and we tried it out on the grass.
the night i told him i bought it was that night i found him at Zaphod's with James and Gio. I don't really like his friend. well. i do. i like them but they just seem so much taller and more important to me. like they're the cool kids of the whole world and my regular conversation couldn't possibly interest them and most likely embarass me.
but i wasn't there for them. Gavin gave me some money to play pin ball and we wandered around and outside and when we went home we stopped on parliament hill remember? and you complained you couldnt make it so i yelled out loud to the world that we could not make it home and there was no hope and rolled down the hill. and you met me down there to. and we went up and down until we were upside down.
But you got on your feet and we snuck in between and under the fences on Bank street where all the big construction and digging trucks and pipes and holes and dirt and hills and orange. we climbed up and down everything we found until we made it home.
well when was it you got into town. on monday. monday at 2 am. i had fallen asleep with the phone in my arms. i thought you were going to be here much sooner. the next day we bought lunch and took it to Dundonald park and played dinosaur chess on the tables. i showed you how high i could jump off a swing and then you found a secret tunnel where i used to work. it led out to stairs and marble ledges so i watched you skate around me and i showed you what i couldnt do. and you said i was close.
beer at royal oak that night and beer at the royal oak the next night.
then more days and more nights and more waking up and sleeping in. and then nothing.
