(no subject)
I kind of work up a bit earlier then I wanted to. I had to get up for about 7:00 this morning so I can be at a Centennial Park for 9:30 am to do security for a soccer game. I am not to sure why so much security is needed. I am assuming that there is going to be a rather large crowd of spectators, and that we aren't there to be keeping the players off each other. I know of at least 5 of us(that I work with) that will be at this game.
I have never been to a soccer game before. I have a feeling it's going to be a very long morning, how long do soccer games last for?
All I know is that I am going to have to get to the other side of the city in rush hour traffic on the bus, so I'm going to have to give myself plenty of time to be there for 9:30.
Yesterday it was supposed to rain and it didn't, maybe it rained over night. Not to sure if it did and I know that yesterday they were calling for rain this morning, so would a soccer game be canceled if it does? ba! for all I know this could be an inside game and rain wouldn't matter. I looked on the map to find this place and it's a huge ass park.
So I now also have to give myself extra time to find the soccer game in the park. It would have been nice if it was just like a big up field and a parking lot right beside it, but no. It has to be like a thousand times bigger then that, lets hope there isn't a bunch of things going on there this morning or I'm going to get confused.
I am looking forward to going to work, one reason being because I haven't worked since sunday and need the money. Another reason is because I like the people I work with and it will give me a chance to get to know them a wee bit more.
