(no subject)
so i haven't updated in a long while. its been a busy summer so far.
right now i'm at my dads, waiting for everyone else to pack, since i am done.
tomorrow i leave for disney world - yes!!!!way excited lol. disney has the ability to make me feel young and careless again and its a great feeling.
has anyone started summer reading for senior honors english? Siddhartha is really good, as in i don't hate reading it as much as say... Wuthering Heights (gag). i plan to finish that tonight, and tomorrow begin "Sophie's Choice" for humanities. have you started that yet any one? how is it?
tonight i was supposed to go see fire works in portland, and they are the best fire works ever, but because of this week's rainfall the field where the viewing takes place is flooded, and they have been post ponned. this is sad. i was looking foward to it, however my grandma is still having a cookout, and making her world famous fries.
i wish these simple pleasures were enough to make me smile this big during the school year. during the summer everything tiny becomes such a great ordeal. its a blessing and a curse, i suppose, depending on the situation.
goodness i love TLC and the design shows - especially trading spaces, while you were out, and what not to wear. so much mindless enjoyability.
i suppose i should make my bed...
