ohhh yes.
this week took a turn for the better with the state meet on wednesday.
everything came together for everyone, we tied for 5th! out of like 27! which is an improvement from last year where we came in well, perhaps 26th.
individually the competition was good too. sarah hansen recieved 2nd in an amazing 300 hurdle race. cara got 4th in the mile with an awesome 5:27, and lauren came in 4th with a 12:05 in the 3200.
i got my personal best in the 800 -(2:23) woo hoo! coming in 5th place and beating the rham girls made my season. all of us made it to state opens, coming up monday. PLUS! our 4x800 relay team broke the school record again (with a 10:05), and qualified, i think for the first time in school history, for state opens. that was soooo exciting!! that team includes me, cara, my sister molly, and lauren.
im so excited for opens, its the most competitive high school race in the state, and winners go on to new england championships. none of us really have a chance at making that except for sarah hansen, but its so exciting just to make it.
the year is winding down rapidly, and i had my senior board interview for upbeat yesterday. SENIOR! where did the years go? ATTENTION: underclassmen, enjoy your high school years, these past 3 have gone by so quickly.
the weather outside is beautiful, but i stayed inside to clean. tomorrow i plan to lay out by the pool and bake, i mean spf 50, mom...
i recieved my SAT scores, perhaps i can go to a good college afterall lol. oh trinity, my score was so close to what you require. can u just lower your standards by about 20 points?
