(no subject)
So I haven't looked at livejournal in forever. I thought I'd do a quick update.
I love this time of year, without the snow it's even better. Thanksgiving was awesome.
I went downstate Michigan to Kristi's house. First time I've left Sault Ste. Marie, MI since I've been here, went over the Mackinac Bridge, largest suspension bridge. It was a lot of fun. Played a lot of DDR at Kristi's. Her family is awesome. We went to this town, Frakenmurth, apparently it's big on Christmas...it was awesome. There's also a Christmas Michigan, where it's Christmas 365 days. Went shopping on Black Friday, you guys think Portland's bad...try Saginaw Michigan. Kristi and her mom were making fun of me because I was in awe at how huge of a city and the lines that were miles long and the cops standing outside the stores. It was intense. We were in line at Kohls for two hours. Went to Hooters that night, first time ever, got our picture taken with the waitress. Some guy from England took our picture. He said he's never seen two girls eat so many hot wings in his life.
I had a lot of fun.
Relationship News:
Kyle and I have been together almost two months. We have a lot of fun together, and we just click. Everything is always awesome when I'm with him, and I'm with him every day. I don't even sleep at my house anymore, I practically live with him. It's actually a little scary, because it's the first time I've actually felt serious about someone and I know they feel serious back. He said "I love you" and it took me a few days to say it back, but I did it. Huge step for Miss Sarah. Anyway, he invited me to his house for thanksgiving, but I already made plans with Kristi, so I missed him terribly for those few days. He wants me to spend Christmas with him downstate, I'm trying to convince him that if I take time off from work, we should at least take a drive to Maine. I'd really like mom and dad to meet him. I think they'd actually really like him. I'm honestly in love with this boy. He makes me look forward to every day.
My birthday is on Friday. 20 years old. Really not looking forward to that age. Not a teenager anymore, but no perks of being an adult. I don't want to grow up, I'm too scared. I think Kyle's got some fun stuff planned though. Saturday night, Katie, Desi, and I went to Canada and I wore my birthday hat and people bought me drinks. That was fun.
I really wish I was home at this time of year. I missed wreath making with the family, family shopping is next weekend, my birthday, and christmas. Plus, today is Kristen's birthday. We used to always celebrate together.
I haven't done any christmas shopping. I need to start doing that sometime.
I got a new cell phone, I don't know if everyone has the number, but I lost a lot of numbers when I got rid of the other phone. It's 906-748-0135
