This arvo ROCKED!
The boss took us to lunch at Bayview, and paid for our booze!
Then Aunty Di went up to the freakin awesome band and asked if I could sing with them. I knew she wouldn't be able to help herself.
So I did the ol' Mustang Sally... I rocked it of course... my work mates were kinda dumb-founded, and I think I had about 5 people in 5 minutes ask me why the hell I wasn't a contender in Aus Idol. Meh.
I'd love to sing with a band. It was fun.
Anyhow, I decided I'd had too much piss to be able to do my exams in a conscious state tonight, and Mum's going to Lloyd's since he's been away for a month, so there was no question about it - I asked Glen out for tonight.
Funny thing, I was tryin to think of something other than typical dinner or movies, and what I really wanted to do was go for a walk along the beach and get fish and chips, but I didn't wanna sound corny... then he texted saying he knew it sounded corny but why don't we go for a walk along the beach and get fish and chips...
this is too cosmic for me, I will not be drawn into twilight zone-like romantic connection thoughts *shakes head*
