Hot Dog, Hot Dog!

So, we are waiting in line and it is already midnight. At that rate we would never see the show. So I grabbed Mer and I was like let's get to the front. So, I go under the fence and almost get stuck..haha and Mer jumps the fence four meters away from the security guys. How they didn't see us, I don't know. So, then I told Mer to stay in line and I went back for Bre. I took Bre by the hand and brought her all the way to the front of the line. I still can't believe how much I get away with here. There is no way in hell we could sneak to the front of the line like this back at home. Taiwanese people are really nice though and they usually don't want to get in the way of foreigners...haha. So, we get in and the place is crazy. There were so many people there! We got some shots, and again I grabbed the girls and moved my way through the crowds...all the way up to the stage..haha.

The show was so much fun!! Everyone had their arms up, and they were all rapping along to the lyrics. Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Dog! Taipei, Taipei, Taipei were the only words we knew..haha. There were tons of dancers on stage and the crowd got splashed with water. During the final song we were covered with small ribbons that fell from the ceiling! It was awesome. The crazy thing is that there is no way there would be such a huge hip hop party in Van. There would be so many fights and gang-related activity that it would be impossible to keep the crowds calm. But, Taiwanese people are definitely different. They just want to dance and have a good time! I love their mentality!

After the show, the DJ spun some more hip hop. Mer, Bre and I were on the big screen during some of the night. At one point, I got up on the fence and cheered the crowd...hahah. People were break-dancing in huge circles on the massive dance floor...it was weird cuz we only saw two foreigners during the whole night! We had free entry into Mint and so we danced the rest of the night away at a really nice club under Taipei 101. It was an awesome night, and I am glad Bre could experience the crazy party scene here!
