But, there was nowhere to go..nowhere at all. She was stuck in a hovel with a boy that she had intense old feelings for that were rushing back at her and she felt so guilty for feeling this way, guilty because she loved Pride, with all of her heart, and she cared a great deal about her friend Amber, and about Bray, but not in that way and yet, here were all of these emotions, these needs and wants rushing back at her that she hadn't felt in so long, she was confused, torn and upset and she didn't know what to do anymore, so she just sat there, trying not to cry...again.

Where was his son, he needed his son, he wanted to get up and look for him, but when he tried it was like being grabbed and held down by the arms of a thousand demons.
"Argh!" he screamed. Then he was back again, and aware. What had happened, why was he here? There was still light he hadn't imagined it. "Salene?" he called out, but his voice didn't seem to go as loud as he wanted it to.
