The day had been long, so many things had happened, Salene could hardly remember it all as she headed upstairs from the
hospital. Her right hand rubbed at the back of her neck, the tension in it so tight it was giving her a headache. She'd had enough of those lately, and she'd just wanted it to go away, completely forgetting to check if the Cafes

Pulling her bottom lip into her mouth, she bit down on it a little to suppress the smile, "Come on Ry," she said, sitting up a bit so she could hover over him. "Relax, I'm not mad at you this morning, I know you'll do just what you promise, I believe you, and I trust you," she looked him in the eye as she said this, searching deep down inside of his eyes, his gaze, feeling as if she was touching his very soul with hers.
Her lips gravitated towards his, leaning down to kiss him softly, pulling her hand out of his reluctantly so she could steady herself a bit better, practically crawling on top of him now. Her chest pressed to his, her right leg came to rest between his, straddling his thigh as she pressed down against it with her hips, never breaking the kiss. She really did want Ryan to believe what she said, it was true, she had just wanted to spend some time with him, that's all she meant by talking to him.

Looking into her eyes he felt something inside of him, turn on, the feeling was indescribable. Her eyes were so full of, love, of, presence, he didn't know how to describe it, but it felt, deep. Like he was swimming in the ocean without a lifejacket, drowning in, in her gaze or something. It was all torn away as she pressed her lips to his, pulling her hand away and moving on top of him. His arms wrapped around her instinctively, hugging her small frame against his larger, muscular one, feeling her press down on his thigh with her warmth. This made a groan escape from his throat, deep, quiet, and his thigh moved up to press against her better.
Did they really have time for this? Some of the kids were up, no doubt others would soon follow, and who knew if Mouse would come back to tell them that breakfast was indeed ready? He couldn't stop himself though, he wasn't awake enough to form thoughts as it was, and now with her pressing against him like this, it was impossible. His right hand ran down the length of her back and found it's way under her shirt at the hem, gently grabbing her flesh as it traveled back up, towards her breast. It wasn't captured like the other one, pressed hard against his chest as his tongue found hers, and he was easily able to cup it, finding what he was looking for and twirling it gently between his fingers. If this is what she called "talking", well Ryan couldn't say that he disliked it, not one bit.

Her thoughts were put on hold as his fingers grasped something so sensitive and gave it just the right amount of pressure and pull. "Ahhh," she groaned into the kiss, first feeling the pain, then the pleasure, and that was enough. Now she was wiggling against his leg, pressing hard, moving against it, hell she didn't care, that had been just the right amount of everything to get her going. Every thought about the Mall and what needed to be done, about the city, it was gone, it had flown right away like a little bird and she could think of nothing else but Ryan and where his fingers were.
The intoxicating kisses deepened further, needy, passionate, heated movements, heavy breathing, she felt like she'd go insane from it all. "Ryan," she half moaned, half whispered, "Ryan please," it was as if this was some kind of code, it always escaped her when she got like this, and he always knew just what she wanted, what she needed. More, more, more, more.

Growling, Ryan let go of her with his right hand and wrapped it back around her body, rolling her quickly into the bed and ending up on top of her. He was not gentle as he forced his legs between hers, his hands moving up from her back to grab her wrists and hold them over her head. He maneuvered to hold them both with one hand, but she didn't fight back and that helped. His left hand trailed down and roughly pulled her shirt up, exposing that which he'd been using to get her engines fired just moments ago. Capturing it quickly with his mouth, Ryan was gentle now, sucking, flicking it with his tongue. His hand wandering lower, down her flat stomach, down to the inner edge of her panties, next to her right leg. His fingers found their way up to invade that hot space and he moaned against her breast there.
Pulling his mouth away from her chest, he looked up at her and slid up her body, capturing her mouth against his, returning her passionate needy kisses on his own, gently, letting go of her wrists now and letting his hand fall to her hair, framing her face before slipping under her neck. His fingers were invading, gently, down below, lingering in the wet and hot he now longed to invade with a different body part. But, it was breakfast, and though his mind was only on taking what he wanted, he knew better. They had to get up, besides, this would just leave her to think about all day long, and he, and the anticipation would surely build up to amazing things that night.
Pulling his fingers away from that space, he slid his hand up onto her hip, grasping it and pulling her into him as he slipped off of her and onto the bed. His mouth reluctantly pulled away from hers, "I've gotta get up, breakfast, and I should check on Lottie," he gave her another quick peck on the lips before letting her go and sitting up, moving to the edge of the bed and rubbing his neck as he waited for that particular body part of his to calm down.

Instead, guilt sunk in, here she was, raring to go, a little irritated that he wasn't going to follow through on a day such as this, and he was worried about his kids. How selfish of her! He was right, she needed to get up, just minutes ago she'd been concerned about Mouse coming back looking for them, now was not the time.
Sitting up, Salene considered just getting ready for the day, but she found herself crawling across their bed, towards him, coming up behind him and wrapping her arms around his middle. It was completely innocent, she wasn't considering anything about her actions, she simply wanted to hug him to make sure everything was ok with them before she actually started her day. "Right, checking on Lottie is a very good idea. Macy was kind of weird last night, when I went to check on her, I," she furrowed her brow and contemplated her words. "I think he hates me. But, it's ok," she quickly added, "I mean, it's to be expected, I can't expect him to come here and just, jump into loving me. Everything takes time, even if the other kids have been really awesome in that way," she kissed his shoulder between his neck and his tank top.
Letting go of him, Salene slid past him and stood up, stretching her arms over her head and rolling up onto the balls of her feet, yawning and feeling her back pop in many places. "Ahh," that felt better, and it put a bit of a bounce in her step as she walked towards the wardrobe to decide on an outfit for the day. Glancing over her shoulder at Ryan, Salene gave him a sweet smile before turning back to the clothes, pulling out a clean tank top for him and searching through their clothes for things for each of them to wear.

Arms snaked around him and held him tightly, and his hand fell from his neck to the small hands on his chest, holding them and pressing back. A smile leaned across his face, glad that she wasn't upset or full of self doubt, but then she said something that threw him off and confused him.
"What do you mean? Macy hates you?" Ryan shook his head, "That's not possible, how could he hate you Sal? You're...you're Sal!" He shifted on the bed, things were calm now but she was at the wardrobe looking for clothes, and he was confused. "What did he say? What did he do?" Ryan felt himself beginning to get angry with Macy, but he quickly squelched it, he had to remember to take deep breaths and not let his anger run away with him, especially not before he heard what she meant. Even her quick little smile over her shoulder at him didn't help much, he was going to have a talk with Macy if he was rude to Salene. Ryan couldn't force him to like her, he couldn't force him to love this place, but he sure as heck could make sure he was polite and respectful, despite his feelings.
