(no subject)
Hi everyone, remember me?
I just wanted to update on a few things going on for me lately, and if not for other people to read or be interested, at least for my own sake.
I graduate in a little over a month. I used to be terrified to leave and face big scary college, and the real world, but now I'm just sad to have to leave this wonderful school and these wonderful people I love so much. A lot of my friends are going out east (Boston U, Cornell, UPenn, Harvard, etc.) which will be hard to deal with, but three of my 5 best friends are going to be in the Twin Cities area with me, so things should be pretty cool.
I'm going to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and I'm very excited. I'm going to double major in Spanish and ????. Probably some social science. I would love to be a psychiatrist but when I told my parents that they said, 'Oh no, you don't want to be a doctor.' ?? weirdos.
Prom is in a few weeks, I'm going with my boyfriend Michael, and I am about ready to slit the throat of the next person who whiens endlessly about Prom. It's a dance, and it is not that spectacular. Don't waste your last month here worrying about 3 hous of your life.
I just won a $2,000 scholarship today! Wahoo!
I got 10th in state in the National Spanish Exam Interview Lv. 5 on monday, wahoo again!
My tendonitis is getting really bad, so I feel like an old lady. =P
I love Senior year! We had our Senior 'Wisdom Retreat' today, and besides being really sappy at some points, was a ton of fun. It's so great that we actually are all friends, and we can get along so well with everyone else in our class. I'll miss them all, and the amazing closeness that we have for beign such a large class.
And that's what's been going on for the last 4 months or so. =D
