I have been informed that my 31 year old, mother of three, cousin Tanya quite possibly has Metastatic Melanoma cancer. This cancer is a form of skin cancer that has gone into the blood and lymphatic system and become very dangerous. The most recent information I have is that this is stage four cancer and could possibly spread to the brain or liver. This is the final and most severe stage a cancer can enter. I am waiting to get more information from her visit to the specialist today. She lives in Arizona. The last time I saw her may have been just that, and I am trying not to get really upset. I have to try to reach my aunt later this evening for more info. I thought surely she would get lung cancer or something from smoking for 20 years. But skin cancer?!? To die from skin cancer...
That is Arizona for you. I really need to find a way to go see her. Like soon.
