Haha, I used to mess with the nurses too when I was in the ICU. XD I was very bad. I simulated impending heart-attacks and respiratory failure. (The nurses spent too much time gathered in a corner talking about men, I was attached to a million monitors, I had no call button, and I had to go to the bathroom so badly it hurt, damnit. Oooh, they were mad. ;D Negligence, especially in ICU, isn't nice.)
And Allie, I hope those fools get around to airing your segment soon. I'd slap them silly with a golden trout, but alas-- I don't know them, nor do I own a golden trout. It's injustice.
Ah. No, you don't bore me. I love stories! I love to make my alarms go off on pourpose. I keep getting yelled at. "ALLIE STOP SCARING THE SHIT OUT OF US!" But, I can't. It's what keeps me sane, they'll get over it. hehe.
P.S. I'm taking your suggestion. Extreme Makeover: Potty Edition, comming soon to a LiveJournal near you.
Allie!! I know I said this earlier- but they better air your thing soon or I am going to be REALLY REALLY mad!!!! Tell them to get it together because you are IMPORTANT! Good luck and tell me how it goes! <3 Kristen
I don't know who you are, Kristen, but I have an offer. If they don't air it soon, we'll go where ever we need to and kick some heiney politely speak with whoever's in charge. What do you say? Are we on?
I won't lower your hopes about...ngb2kFebruary 18 2004, 17:53:57 UTC
... the airing, but if it was thought for a newsfeed, it gets "older"(and more uninteresting) every hour it didn't got aired. NewsChannels make alot of interviews and reports who are thought, to fill up a news-show with reports, in the case nothing else is happening(the newsbusiness is sadly very hard, sometimes realy mean and careless). The only chance would be then, that it will be shown in a themed show(like some weekly news, a sport-, or health-related show). I would suggest to call the station, who made the interview, to ask back if, and/or when they plan to air it. Well, I hope the best for the airing, and that you're feel better soon. :)

My mom talked to the guy that set this whole thing up today, and he was just getting out of a meeting about the situation. And he said not to worry, it will be shown sometime this week. And he's not a news media guy- he's a personal friend, so I have no reason to doubt him. ;D
... if the guy, who made the report, is a personal friend of you, it rises of course the chances it get aired. With luck you'll get also a good airing time. :)

Respiratory failure is the best to fake. Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go, and will make all attepmts not to go in the bed if you don't have to.
I've been promised that they segment WILL be aired this week. No doubt. *crosses fingers*
