PLANTATION CRASH: A Davie man died Thursday morning in Plantation when the car in which he was riding slammed into a tree off North New River Canal Road, a police spokesman said. Tony McMasters, 22, was killed when the 1997 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Joshua Brock, 27, of Plantation veered out of control west of Pine Island Road, hopped a curb, flipped sideways and crashed, Detective Steve Geller said. McMasters and Brock were pinned inside the car. It took about 30 minutes to free Brock. He was taken to Broward General Medical Center, but medics pronounced McMasters dead at the scene, Plantation Fire-Rescue Battalion Chief Joel Gordon said.
wow. I bought the article from the sun sentinel. I'm so in shock, I didn't believe Dom. I thought maybe Tony was behind her making this into a joke. But it's real. I'm so upset. Sure I was mad at him for what happened in our relationship, but I still had love for him. He was my first love. And my last words to him were "I want nothing to do with you, goodbye." and now I wish I could take it all back, but I can't. I hope his mom calls me back, I would like to talk to her, maybe go to the crash site and leave some lily's [his favorite flower]. She was always there for me when I needed her, so I'll be there for her when she needs me. She was so proud of him too, he was finally getting on the right track in life. He was going back to school to make something of himself, so he could move out one day. But it was all taken away from him because Josh decided to drive drunk again.
