Draco centric HBP rambling part1
I've been delaying to write my own little review(ish) post on HBP, because what more can you say after reading an immensely satisfying book that validated your every extrapolation and speculation on your favorite characters, one of them given more page space and spotlight than you could ever dream of, then reading a couple of other people's reviews

Quite a lot, as it turns out, and riveting stuff too.
But yes, I´m also still trying to wrap my head around the fact that our boy has got his own arc. But you´re right, of course-while his altered role in the series was a fantastic surprise, it remains rooted in previous books. Thanks for pointing out all the CoS connections, I completely missed some of them.

Loyal friends, and then some! After they agreed to BE LITTLE GIRLS on a regular basis, a new term needs to be invented for them.
On the subject of his future, I´m like you: torn between cautious hope and blind fear. But it would make Dumbledore´s sacrifice even more meaningful if it succeeded in preventing Draco from joining the Dark Side.

And I regardless of what the significance may be, it seems to confirm their fates will continue to be linked...I don´t know if it also means their eventual fate will be the same. OMG, I´m gonna have a heart attack with book 7, aren´t I?

It's really funny. Whenever I begin a post with 'wow I don't know what to say!' I end up having a verbal diarrhea, while I usually follow up an ambitious introduction promising great in-depth essay with a feeble, lame sentence or two. I am my own bane in my life, so it seems.

But I don't know what would be remotely adequate to honor what they did! I mean, undergoing sex-changes for a lousy friend who doesn't even tell you what the fuck the image-suicide was for!!!

I was thinking maybe I should get myself properly braced with spoilers on the eve of book 7, but then I suspect even the spoilers have enough power to give me a stroke!!! So, unlike many of my lj-pals, I *could* wait a bit for book 7!
