Can Christian Bale do and redo every batman movie there is???
I seriously haven't seen anything so enjoyable in a long while!!! Here comes the deadly bullet points, excuse lame people who can't do proper reviews to save their arse :P
- Of course I saw Liam Neeson fighting Bruce with a lightsaber, didn't you all?
- When Bruce opened the chest and bats flew out, I thought they were boggarts.
- Ahhh come on! You folks were being too harsh on Katie Holmes, her job there was just to make everyone else seem even more interesting. Seriously though, this movie is all about Batman, an overly likeable love interest might become an unwanted distraction?
- The bit I burst into laughter when I shouldn't have: Bruce yelling in Mandarin that he wasn't a criminal. Honestly, they should stop making heroes speak a foreign language, especially when it's not humour they are aiming for.
- Gotham reminded me of Sydney! With its monorails, skylines, interesting architectures and that slightly depressing atmosphere (ps. I love Sydney).
- Why did Watanabe accept a role even more dull than Rachel -_-? Or was Ra's Al Ghul supposed to be fun just that he did a bad job?
- I adore Alfred!!! It breaks my heart that he won't be able to always be there for Batman ;_;
- Lucius Fox... Excuse the foolish squee for another HP linkage (oh did the bat-boggarts not count?).
- <33333333 Dr. Crane for his sickly beauty *0*!!! I kept wishing Batman would suddenly do some unspeakable obscene things to him, pity that never happened.
- Gordon served his purpose as a nerdy sidekick very well. Adore him!
- Slightly worrying but, I do identify with 'villains' like Ducard, even when I know what they do is wrong as extremity nearly always is. Yeah I'm the sort who sometimes take themselves way too seriously ;P
- It's very very rare that I *completely* stand behind and am in total love with a protagonist. Now I can't explain what's so cool about Batman, I only know that I did not roll my eyes once at him and actually felt excited when he got ready to save the world!!!
