i convince myself that nothing is true
blurring between whats past and whats new
but then i sit and look back, and see what i've done
and i realize i've just made the pain numb

i'm frightened now by what i see
not knowing whats real and whats fantasy
reality subdidizing the core of my fears
and i find myself suppressing these tears
