Hmmm...as much as there is a high resemblance going on there, I wouldn't really advise it as the character...is pretty flat. She's a villain who's a bitch and does...nothing. In fact none of very few villains in that game actually do anything or have a personality. But on the bright side you could easily get away with it without playing the game as there really isn't anything to her at all. No story, not much personality, you never even get to fight her. Design is kinda nifty though.
And I second the motion there on Saiunkoku cosplay. Some of the story gets boring but the main female lead is pretty awesome and the designs are oh-so-pretty. ...that and I happen to have already cosplayed from it. ^^;;
Oh Otakon. I am once again going and oddly enough somehow I was talked into doing a skit this year even though I said I never would again...hoping they've cleared up their act by now. At least Hall seemed a lot better when I entered last year (hadn't done so in many years with that either). I'm still not sure why the hell I agreed to it...but I am looking forward to it if it doesn't kill me.
Wow... what happened to Final Fantasy games since I stopped playing them? They used to have the most interesting and charismatic villains! I just went on youtube to check cut scenes and all her cut scenes fit in 9 minutes? o_o That's rather sad.
Saiunkoku looks like Fushigi Yuugi 2 to me... but maybe it's just because of the Tang Dynasty robes and the cute men with little bucket hats. (Ahhh.... bucket hats! I'm certain that's the technical term. Just like duck shoes.)
You were talked into a skit? Good luck! You'll have to tell me if they got their act together, I'm afraid I'd have flashbacks of the monster growing out of Yui's back if I ever were to compete again at that con. (As nifty as that prop was, no one wants to be in a room with so many eyes staring at you.)
If you're looking forward to it, then it will be fun! It's when you start dreading it that you know something is going to happen...

I get so angry at most female characters in Japanese anime. :/

...yeah and all the pretty outfits don't hurt. I definitely want to cosplay from it someday.
