Play an instrument??: I haven’t picked up a guitar or sat down at a piano in years, but I know I need to get back into it.

Band(s)?: I absolutely adore classic bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who, and David Bowie. But for more younger and newer bands, I lean towards Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and System of a Down.
Song(s)?: The greatest song I believe to ever be created is “Heart-Shaped Box” by Nirvana.
Color?: Green is my newest favorite, just because it comes almost in textures rather than shades.
Season?: Fall just because you can actually see the world around you lose its color.
Store?: Any place that sells music.
Icecream flavor?: Mint Chocolate Chip.. It has to be the color.
Number?: 17 is my favorite sports player of all time, Tom Ryan.
++Opinions++
1. Male rape- I don’t believe male rape is any different than a woman being raped. They both attack a person’s humility and are used to gain power over another human being. To say a man is not emotionally affected the same way is sexist in my opinion.
2. Terrorism- Terrorism is a touchy subject in today’s society. I can relate to many terrorists as to the reasoning behind their actions, but can obviously not agree with the methods used to gain attention or control. I am also against how the government shows terrorists today. It handles the situation by dehumanizing them, when in reality it would be more useful for stopping terrorism by being able to realize that they too are human beings.
3. Labels- I’m mixed on this subject only because I feel it can be good for a person to label themselves into a positive group. For example, if a teenager decides to label himself as straightedge, it is easier for them to identify and communicate with those that they share a common interest or passion with.
4. Being rich- I believe since this is the ultimate goal of many hard-working Americans, it should not be necessarily looked down upon. On the other hand, undeserved fortune, like undeserved anything, should not be praised by society.
5. Something you feel strongly about- I believe strongly that depression and self-mutilation especially in teens should be taken extremely seriously. Having many friends that suffer from both, I advocate therapy and support groups, either in front of strangers or close friends. Unfortunately, I say all of this very selfishly, only because my deepest fear is losing a good friend to this.
