Well, things are permanently over between Lana and I. I received a letter from her that really gave no choice - not just in her words (which were crystal clear), but no choice by virtue of the way things have developed between us over the past 7 months.
I spent most the night writing a lengthy critique on her person and a rebuttal. This morning I realised my superior overtones simply denied her the decision she was making, even if I followed the whole thing by an overall acceptance of her decision.
So all I could do was send a thank you. No last words, no gestures, no words of faith or mystical connections - no stealing her empowerment. Just acknowledgement. The decision was hers and I respectfully acknowledge it. The. end.
I think I am relieved.
I just need to finish my thesis.
I ran out of paper, so I used a page of my thesis to write on - what sublime comedy!
