Interesting Modest Mouse stuff
Their name derives from a passage from the Virginia Woolf story "The Mark on the Wall" which reads "...and very frequent even in the minds of modest, mouse-coloured people..." -quote from Wikipedia, only the best website ever, gosh!
This is a good song and this is supposedly what it's about.....This song is about a friend that died from a heroin OD. The song is basically one friend explaining how they said this and that growing up, "well grow old, etc." and how it was all a lie since he basically killed himself with drugs.
The video shows a boy looking for his friend that gone. You wasted life, why wouldn't you waste death.
