Winter Breakkkk
SOOOOO yeah. Went to Turks & Caicos for a few days. I got food poisoning and barfed my brains out like nobody's business, but I still went snorkeling the next day because we had already paid for the trip lol. And it was a good thing i did because THERE WAS A DOLPHIN
YEA BETCHES I SWAM WITH A WILD DOLPHIN FUCK YEAR
ok so he's not really a wild dolphin, he's like....a half-wild dolphin. His name is Jojo and he has his own site! He's pretty famous, he's even been in a documentary or two...I'm pretty sure it was him because his whole body is scarred from getting hit by boats and jetskis. D: BASTARDSSS
Anyway so it was actually after everyone was back from the snorkel when one of the guys was like HOLY CRAP LOOK ITS A DOLPHIN. And I immediately jumped back in the water with him and pet his head. It swam under the boat, and I followed it, tried to pet him again, and he sorta nommed my hand (which didn't hurt because Jojo is old and his teeth aren't so sharp). Then I hit my head on the bottom of my boat when I snapped out of my animal-induced hypnotic state and realized I can't hold my breath as long as a dolphin.
I swam with him for a bit more and then he went to visit other snorkelers. He's so friendly

I also saw endangered rock Iguanas on the island we stopped at. Observe:

Then we went conch...hunting...collecting...something, and the boat dudes made lunch out of them it was pretty gross
But it was pretty there. yes.

We have roaming packs of wild turkeys in our area. One morning we looked outside and there was this freakin turkey sitting on the roof of my mom's car

I saw a freakin crapload of movies this winter...Princess and the Frog (kinda disappointing), Dr. Parnassus Imaginarium...that new Terry Gilliam thing (also kinda disappointing, but I liked Lily Cole, she's my favorite model),AVATHARRRRR, aaand Sherlock motherfucking Holmes
RDJ is pretty fuckin' moe but he's still at his moe-est in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang which I finally watched

Umm...what else did I do. I made Green Tea Shortbread cookies, Shrimp and Chive dumplings, and chocolate cake with youkanfever. I really recommend the Green tea cookie recipe!
Mostly I've been putting together my study abroad apps. UGH and I still need to do more summer internship apps so I'll do an artdump later
