Lovely weekend
On Saturday the bf went to help his brother with his new house, so it was just J and me. We went to the shops. J rode her own bike (Thursday she rode her bike to school for the first time). It didn't go very fast, but we were in no hurry. We ate an ice cream and headed back home (couldn't find what I was looking for. Have to order it online).
It was really warm so thought it was a good weekend to set up the swimming pool. I had to do it on my own though, because the bf was out. It was a lot of work. I had never before set up the pool, so it was quite a puzzle and it was really hot in the sun, I had to move all sorts of garden furniture. But in the end we had a pool!
Today it was another warm sunny day. J wanted to invite a friend to come and swim in the pool. After texting several people, we finally found someone who could come. J had a nice afternoon with her friend L. He even brought her flowers (his mother owns a flower shop). I put those flowers together with J's 'walking' flowers:
Not my flowers, but I get to enjoy them anyways :)
In the mean time I sat outside in the shade working a new crochet project: a small Dobby amigumuri for my niece. They managed to keep each other occupied so much, I even got Dobby finished:
I could get used to days like this ;)
We spotted a lot of these pretty beetles in our garden:
Even though they are very pretty I now remove each one from our garden. I found out what kind of beetles these are ('rozemarijngoudhaantje') and they eat lavender, rosemary, thyme and sage. Those 4 plants are represented in our garden.
