About posting fics
Forgive me, it's been so long since I did this.
Back in the day I just posted my fics on FictionAlley, put a link here in the journal and that was that, but with a new fandom I will have to use LJ to get the readers I want, and that's unknown territory to me. I know of a few communities that look interesting, but should I finish the whole piece first and then link to my journal/ff.net, or is it okay to spam a wee bit? I've seen others doing the spam version and it seems to be working for them...or is that just annoying to people?
Post everything at once? Finish it first, but do the Spamalot? Post it as I go along? What about one shots, should I group them together?
Suddenly I can't make up my mind. I have no name in this fandom whatsoever, not one person knows or cares, and suddenly that thought's quite daunting.
