We moved back to Indiana for several reasons, one of my own personal being the skies over the Hoosier state. I've never seen sunsets and sunrises anywhere else in this world I have traveled to like the dawn and dusk skies shine here in Indiana. Even in Vermont where the air quality is supposedly so much cleaner and down in Florida, Pennsylvania, Chicago, Oklahoma... the light can be similar, the air can smell similar, the time of day you take notice can be identical... the skies in this state are breathtaking and I can stare into them for hours on end.
I stood outside tonight and marveled at yet another Indiana sunset, a cool breeze blowing away oppressive humidity that has been camped out here for the past three days. I took ten minutes out of my idiotic work schedule and enjoyed the sunset for no one else but me.
I will always love this land, and forever marvel at the wonderous skies above.
