Testing, 1.. 2.. 3..

Hah! I knew I could fix the keyboard; I'm so smart yo! Man, I need a new roommate. One that doesn't go into a berserker mode and throw innocent electronics around whenever his girlfriend dumps him. One who can change the toilet paper roll.

... Or maybe I'll just request to be reassigned instead. >.>

...how does he not know how to change the toilet paper roll?

[[And so, it dawns on me that I seriously need a "WTF?" icon.]]

I don't think I want to ask him that. D: Or find out.

...good point.

Good luck finding a new roommate. I know how that is.

You have a roommate too, huh? Wanna switch?

Had. But I never found one after she up and vanished. Speaking of, seen a girl with brown hair trimmed in the front and long in the back? 'Bout 5'5", pretty fit, likes to shout, laugh, and make a fuss and generally slap people around?

I can tell you that I tried, but there's not much need for roommates down here. Or up here--what level are you? Nooo, thanks. Don't have anything to switch.

Just up and vanished like that? Without a word? Gosh, I wish my roommate would do that. And no, I don't think so. I don't get to see that many women with my job. Just a lot of grumpy and stern faced men toting along artillery and..

I guess I could just move out and find a smaller place. Or move back into the barracks. I'm in the Upper city, and you?

Not a word. Woke up one day, and she just wasn't there. I have no idea what happened to her. At this rate, I'm starting to think she really is dead. Shit. And what sort of job--you in the military?

Having a place of your own has its perks, but a lot of people get bored without anyone else.

Middle. You want the honorifics, or do you not mind that I'm speaking with you casually, Mister...?

And there were no abnormal signs from her prior to her disappearance? That's rather creepy, yo. It could be a kidnapping. I'm sorry. How long has it been? And for my job, you could say that.

Hmm, I'm probably one of those people. Come to think of it, that's probably why I got stuck with this roommate in the first place. Awful hygiene and manners but there's conversation.

Reno. Just Reno. I'm not a noble so honorifics would feel just weird. And make me feel old.

Not a thing. It still bothers me that nothing shows a lead up to it. It's either a kidnapping, a murder, or...she just...oh, God knows, aliens or something. Four years soon. I cope, but I'd like to know what happened. And "you could say that"?

At least conversation, yeah. You get used to having nothing to do or no one to talk to though. You suddenly get a lot of people nagging on you about your social life at the same time, apparently.

Honorifics in general are awkward in my mind, but some prefer having their sense of dignity. Reno, then. Call me Amadeus. You can't feel old when you don't look more than twenty. My twenty-seventh's coming up, and I still feel like I just graduated from university.

[[Wow, these comments are getting long. I talk too much, but your Reno makes me squiggle with joy, so I hope you don't mind. ♥ Also, I hate LJ for relocating all my comments, kthx.]]

Now aliens would just be weird and very creepy. Did she by any chance anger the wrong sort of people? From working here I’ve learned that people with power tend to be very aggressive when things don’t go there way. That’s a long time yo, I feel for ya. I hope you do find some sort of trace on her soon, sometime. And yes, “you could say that.” I’m currently employed by a private company rather than the public government, though I’m still doing the same things.

I live for conversation. I don’t think I can go an hour a day without talking to someone, but I’m pretty sure you’ve guessed that by now.

Or distance. Pleased to meet ya, Amadeus. It’s a shame you aren’t on the same level, I would’ve been willing to switch my roommate for you. You seem pleasant to talk to plus, you know how to change the paper rolls. Nineteen actually. There’s no way you’re twenty six, you really don’t look it!

[[*stabs LJ* It ate my comment the first time around! And it was longer. T_T I love comments ♥, I don't mind at all XO Reno's making a friend. ♥ ]]

I don't see how she could have--she was just a part-time actress. If anyone had a chance at angering anything, it was me, but I never got far enough to do even that. For all I know, she's at the bottom of the seas or on the other side of the earth. Four years is a while. And private companies hire militia? I can never decide whether all of this is an oligarchy, a plutocracy, or a statocracy. If you can forgive my saying.

Guessed it, sure, but conversation isn't so bad. I just don't get much honest-to-goodness, live talk anymore, so I'm used to quiet.

To some, dignity is proportional to distance. I'd be on the same level if not for blood, birth, and fortune (as would anyone else), and I tried once, but things--and beliefs--change over time. I wouldn't so much mind having someone to talk to again, but as ever, my status steps in the way. Nineteen! You definitely can't say you feel old for a few words. And twenty-six I am, though it's a surprise even to me. I don't know whether I look it or not though.[[Curse you, LJ! I love commenting ( ... )

Did you piss off the wrong people? Some people are weird, ya know, they can get angry for the oddest reasons and stay angry for an insane amount of time. Pessimistic thinking will only get you sad. You said she was an actress? Perhaps she got herself an amazing deal and is debuting somewhere with another identity. Think positive! And stop thinking with big words! ...I think it’s a plutocracy, if it means what I think it does. Money = power anywhere.

How quiet? What exactly do you do for a living anyways? You could find a noisy job to make up for it. How about a bar? You can even get yourself free drinks from time to time!

You sound like you’ve had quite a bad experience.

[[Yes, stupid LJ! XO I love commenting too ♥ Oooh, they can make their own and in matching colours! :P]]

If I did, I still don't know about it. All I did was mess around in the stock market and entrepeneurship. Big business and the like. I'm not one to see the glass as half full or half empty, so if she did get an acting deal, just as good--but why did she just leave? And I apologize for the big words ahead of time because I have a tendency to use them. It's what happens when you read too many history books. You got plutocracy right though.

Pretty quiet. I stay indoors most of the time. I run the general goods store my father left behind, but the clientele is...limited. And bars would work if I were more of a drinker, but I don't do much alcohol.

It's the small things that add up.

[[Sweet! Pink, purple, and yellow sound good to you?
...are you "bunnies in a cup"? Because I keep looking at that name and thinking..."Bunnies? Where?"]]

Whoo, the stock market. Did you make make a lot from it? Perhaps a company got annoyed if you did. It’s a very complicated system. I don’t know, I’m just spitting out ideas here. Maybe a fatally sick aunt called and she left in a hurry and has been tied up ever since? Anything’s possible. Ew, reading. You like history books? They’re the thickest ones available! Heh, I knew I was smart.

Staying indoors too much isn’t healthy, yo! But a general goods store sounds nice, was that what you were investing in before? Alcohol can make everything okay again. ♥ Temporarily.

Am I going to be one of those small things?

[[Hmm, how about pink, yellow and orange? It’ll match their hair. They can even make matching scrunchies XO! And yes, I am the bunnies in a cup~ The bunnies are right here yo XP]]

[[...YOUR ICON. XD]]

Nope. I made a decent amount, but like I said, I didn't get too far. It's not nearly as complicated as they make it look like, but it's not easy to keep up with either. True. And I keep telling myself that it's just as likely that she's still alive as she is dead. So I haven't given up, if anything. Yes, reading. Yes, the history books. What do you think an insomniac who stays indoors is going to do? Besides all the solitaire and chess.

Not too healthy, maybe, but it's better than getting into messes outside. As for the general goods store, it's not what I was investing in--it was something to keep stability. What I was investing in was solar energy and hydropower. I've had bad experiences with alcohol though. Or I've had bad experiences with other people on alcohol, per se. Who hasn't though?

You've yet to prove yourself one. I don't see why you would be.

[[Awesome, bracelets AND scrunchies that match their hair!
Say hi to the bunnies in a cup for me! And make sure Hisoka doesn't get his hands on them.]]

[[Heheh, most of my Reno icons are dorky. He’s too silly XD]]

Why did you stop then? It could’ve been possible to move up the levels if you strike it big. At least I think that’s how it works. I never really studied up on that topic. Not giving up is good! I’m sure she’ll give you word one day. Eventually. Insomniac? I would think he would go see a doctor about it and perhaps invest in those luxury mattresses they keep showing on television. Or get drunk often. How does one play chess against himself?

Now, now, I’m sure the outside isn’t that unpleasant. Parks should be problem-free there. It’s not like you’re in the slums. Solar energy and hydropower? Wow, big ones. It sounds like something my boss would be interested in.

…Were they interesting bad experiences? :D Usually I’m the one who gets drunk and others have to deal with, but I’m a very good drunk! I don’t make messes. Or throw things. ♥

Heh, heh.
