so a while ago, i wrote to ultranoir (awesome finnish band that loaswearargyle put me onto; they're coma pop armed with The Cure for Richey's sake!) and they wrote back with pins! letter says: "hi rachel, sorry for the delay. here's a couple of pins for you. they're bulletproof so put them over your heart."

my word. *melts* little things like that make my day.

yeah, it was very touching. i doubt they're actually bullet proof, however...
i love getting strange letters but all i usually get are bank statements (which never bear good news).

awesome. i've never tried writing to bands. all my friends have, and they've all gotten positive results. one made a cover for EPs and another recieved a note from their manager apologizing for the late arrival of her post. i suspect if i tried writing to bands, it would't be that great telling them how much i love them because they wear tight pants.

i've always wanted to do parcel/post exchange, but, when it comes down to it, i just can't be arsed. i take, but never give. sigh.
