Red stopped in his tracks and turned to face in the direction of what would be considered the other side of the island as if he could see it. "Will we want to walk the entire footprint of the island?"

"I don't know if we can, actually. I think there are parts of the coastline that aren't passable on foot - particularly the area behind the school." Scooter looks around consideringly. "Maybe there's some other way, though?"

"Well," Scooter pauses, thinks, continues, "I haven't done much of it, but I went to visit the set when Kermit and everyone were filming Treasure Island and we got to take some little boats - dinghies? - out a couple of times and sail about the harbor." Then he catches on to the purpose of Red's question and continues, thinking aloud. "I guess those people out sailing have a dock on the opposite shore - I haven't seen amything like a boat launch around here."

"Well, isn't there a dock just up ahead? Maybe they have something we can rent." Red started trotting again, in the direction of where he thought he had seen a dock.

"There might be something we could use there," Scooter agrees, while keeping most of his attention on staying plastered to Red's back. "I don't think it's a very big dock, though. It looks like most of the area that would've been docks has been turned into parking lots." He sounds a bit sad as he says this, as though the thought of that bit of progress does not sit as well with him as it could.
