(no subject)
I'm kinda reluctant to post this up here, but hopefully if I do people will find out before I have to see them face to face. So if you read this, please tell people what has happened so I don't have to go through it a million times.
Basically I went for my scan at the hospital today and they told me the baby has some form of spina bifta (I can't remember the actual term). It's skull hasn't formed properly which basically means, that while it's safe in the womb it would most certainly die when I gave birth. The outcome of this being that I have to have what is called a medical termination of pregnancy. This means that I'll be given pills induce some sort of labour, which will result in the termination of the babies life.
I'm totally heartbroken about this as you all can well imagine. This isn't how I thought it would turn out. There's absolutely nothing I did that caused the baby to have these problems, these things sometimes just happen.
Please don't worry about me, I'll be Ok! I'll let you all know how I'm coping soon.
