The Fall
So...I broke my leg last night. THAT was awesome let me tell you.
Okay, so i didnt REALLY break it, but it hurt like frick. I was skateboarding at Bayview with Jo and Julie. Sonia and Lindi were there too. Anyways, I was going for the really big hill that goes around a sharp curve...and i was going and going and all the sudden i speed wobbled and totally busted all over the place. I scraped up my foot pretty bad because i was barefoot (genius let me tell you) but the worst injury was definately my knee. When i fell my leg twisted out to the side at my knee and then i did this crazy flip roll deal.
But, I felt like SUCH A CHAMP. skateboarding wounds are definately the way to go. After it happened I really couldnt move anything and all the sudden i heard Julie yelling BONNNNIE BOOOONNNNNNIIIIEEEEEEEE (in her classic stoner julie voice) and she comes running over (in her classic stoner julie run) and there was flour billowing from her hair and body (because previous to my bust, we had all floured her). So my crew came back for me and assured me that that was the coolest fall ever and even though I busted in front of some other people there who were basically complete strangers, I shouldnt be embarassed because it was HARDCORE! ha. hahahaha. Just take a minute to visualize Julie yelling and running towards me. It was hilarious enough to stop the tears, let me tell you.
So anyways, I gotta go to the doc today and maybe get an x-ray or something and figure out what exactly I did to my knee.
No regrets though. Best Fall of My Life.
