last night jake informed that his girlfriend did not like me. I am a "bad influence," and "the opposite of jake's type," which he describes as "short... sweet girls."

I know it should be chicks before dicks but sorry.

I really can't stand that mentality. I mean seriously, if you're going out with someone wouldn't you be friends with them too, kinda? And if your significant other is having a problem and your friend is too, wouldn't it be more of a "who came to you first" rather than a "oh sry boyfriend" kind of thing? If all's well and good on the boyfriend front and friend has a problem, then yes, definitely, go with the mentality. But if there's crisis with the boyfriend, could that not override the "chicks before dicks"?

It's all so mindboggling to me...
