Obama is upset that the nation refuses to move forward with him and let bygones be bygones so that everyone can concentrate on the reformation and reinstitution of the Great Society that he has in mind (and, if a foreigner may say so, the US badly needs).

May I contribute a cynical proposal? Assign the task to Joe Biden. Biden is honest enough to work hard on it and get the cleaning of the stable of Augis accomplished, while at the same time being ridiculous enough not to distract from the president he is serving completely.
