I met the most fascinating human woman the other night, Eva. A very convenient meeting, it turns out, since she knows Joan, the girl that Vince said knew something about what happened to Roxie. We had a nice chat over coffee and she invited me to a party at Joan's this weekend. Perhaps I'll get some answers at last.
But then, as I was driving my bike back out to the Talisker Inn, I passed the Bronze. And I saw him...the one that got away. The last damned Sunflower. He came out of the bar and teleported before I could react.
He's here, in this dimension. Bastard son of a cursed line, whose father killed my father and all his brothers. Twice I tried to kill him and missed, slippery twerp got away...it won't happen again. Now that I know he's here, I have no doubt he's behind Roxie's disappearance--possibly her death. I will find out the truth and I will destroy him, once and for all.
