So today I handed in my last paper of the semster...only three exams and fourteen hours of practicum left to go, plus a practicum log. I feel like I should feel a lot more relieved than I do. I'm working at reception for four and a half hours this afternoon. I have no papers left to work on and I didn't bring the book I'm reading, so I'm not really sure what I'm going to do. I thought I was only here for 1.5. If someone can lend me a research methods text book I can start working on our exam review, but I don't know...that's kind of boring all things considered.
Nothing terribly exciting has happened in my life lately. Well, I suppose stuff has, I'm just often too tired to write about it later. I started going to the new Presbyterian church in southwest winnipeg which needs a name. I like it, a lot. It's going to be hard trying to commit to going to two churches though, especially in the winter. The buses don't seem bad though, and they're decent transfers, so I'm happy about that, getting home is harder though because of the times the bus comes or doesn't come.
Sunday night was the PYC praise and worship. It turned out really well and as with many things, it taught me a lot.
Practicum has been getting better right when it's almost over for the semester. It is a good thing though.
As soon as school ends I'm starting doing Salvation Army Christmas Kettles so if you're in portage place come and see if i'm at the kettle and say hi :)
I've started watching ER. Jackie and I have unlimited movies from movie village this month, so i've finally managed to finish season one. I can't decide if I should start season two right now or wait until after my exams. It's so tempting to pick up the first DVD on the way home from praticum tomorrow though, and I probably will.
and that's really all I can think of to say...life very honestly isn't that interesting right now. I'm looking forward to holidays though and maybe having the chance to actually see and talk to my friends.
