good day
Yesterday was a good day. I didn't get everything accomplished that I would have liked to, but a good day none the less.
I started if off by going to church @ Knox Selkirk. I haven't been in awhile and it was nice to get back there. It sounds strange, but I think one of the things I like best about that church is the way it sounds inside when we sing hymns. Going to knox has really helped me appreciate the beauty and glory of hymns.
Yesterday afternoon I wanted to do laundry but the washer on my floor was full like all afternoon with people doing different loads and I really didn't feel like going up to another floor. So, thus i'm up early doing laundry so I have clothes to wear today.
Yesterday night I went to a bible study with people from Weetamah. I wasn't really sure what to expect or if I was going to keep going, but I'm glad I went. I had a ton of fun and also was really challenged and have A LOT to think about now. I really like the group of people who are there and for the most part already feel safe sharing things with them.
When I got home I watched the bonus features on my New Orleans DVD. It was awesome seeing that stuff again. After that I flipped through 91 pictures Matt put on it. They were all good pictures and flipping through them in silence after laughing my head off at the DVD really struck me. I will never forget new orleans, but watching those pictures made it seem almost sereal. New Orleans was an amazing experience and I feel blessed to have gone.
