I got the oddest phone call from Wesley last night. He seemed rather distraught, though not drunk. And he prompted that he was fine without me asking him. That never bodes well. I wondered if he wanted me to watch the girls again, but he ensure me they were spending a few days at Cordelia’s. Must say, I’m impressed, I’ve never realized how much Cordelia had changed until he mentioned that those two children would be spending some days with her.
Odd, isn’t it? How an normal every day things can get you to think?
At any rate. The reformation of the council is going rather well. I should talk to both Faith and Buffy at a certain point and get their input on this. And quite possibly Kennedy as well, then we can start rebuilding it for certain. My wish is that these new girls will be able to attend school like normal children, and learn a trade. I will not have them go through the same thing as Buffy and Faith did, and any number of nameless girls before they. They may be Slayers, but that doesn’t mean they cannot have some semblance of a normal life. I draw the line a allowing boys into the institute however!
Perhaps I should talk with…Angel, about funds. But I’m not to certain about that. Well no, I’m pretty certain that would be a bad idea. This *is* Wolfram and Hart we are talking about. We all know what they’ve done, and quite possibly still do. I’m still shuddering to think about the fact that Xander is working there, as well as the rest. Spike and Angel.. Well, they know how I feel about that. Thoroughly.
Haven’t heard much of Willow lately, which is a shame. She had been a tremendous help when it comes to all these things. It would seem she’s more organized then I am. Though, color coding, alphabetical and numeral coding? Perhaps a bit to much. But whatever makes her comfortable. I’m still debating whether to set up the council here, or in England. My traditional heart of course scream for my home country, but a lot of girls will be more comfortable in the USA perhaps. Maybe I can do both, we’ll see.
At any rate, it’s time for some tea. Maybe I should call Cordelia and see how those brats girls are doing.
