You're seventeen, evil and mean...
A few things that are pretty cool about turning 17:
-Now, I seriously AM taking after Mare. But we ARE gonna go get our permits together soon. =)
-My mom will let me stay out later. For tonight at least. Haha..
-Now I can play Ban the Tube Top all the time and SWEAR it applies to me. (And that's precisely what I'm doing at this very moment.)
-I'm not as much of a baby as I used to be. But still, definitely, the baby of the group.
-Mare can't say, "Guys, she's ONLY 16!" anymore. She'll have to say that I'm only 17. And that's not so different, but at least it's something new.
-I can now say, "Ma, in a year, you're not gonna be able to tell me what to do." Which isn't really true cause I'll pretty much always listen to my mom. She gave birth to me. But I can still SAY it.
-I'm that much closer to getting out of high school and getting into college.
-When the word "seventeen" is spelled out, it looks cooler than the word "sixteen" or any other number, for that matter.
-My friends are super sweet to me. But that has nothing to do with turning 17. I just love them. =)
